I had a hair cut today. I kinda like my long, bushy hair; but alas, the weather here in Los Banos is just too much. My hair’s always damp with sweat and it’s starting to smell like the sun–which sucks since I’ve been trying to attract the opposite sex for the longest time. Ha-ha…

At least I don’t look like a huge lesbian unlike with my previous haircuts. Well, that’s really comforting. I kinda like this new haircut of mine, it’s easier to manage and shit.

I slept for 12 hours again from 7pm-7am. I think it’s my favoritest thing to do nowadays when I’m bored–oversleep. Instead of getting high and drunk like I used to do, I think sleeping is a much more healthier habit. Nothing new to do around these streets. Gone are the days when I used to drink all night, every night. My friends are graduating this year, so they’re lying low for the moment. Same goes with me, hello acads!

After having my haircut, I dropped by the thrift shop along Grove and bought 2 books at 15 pesos each. Graham Greene’s The End of the Affair and Hubert Selby Jr.’s Last Exit To Brooklyn. Hooray! More adultery, drugs and booze for me!

There’s a new Death Cab for Cutie video! And it’s Cath! I think it’s one of the first songs that leaked online, and I loved it like crazy. I hate the video, though. What’s up with making Death Cab sit and lip-synch while this sad, pathetic dude’s in the church? They could’ve at least made Gibbard and the dudes play inside the church or whatever. Oh well, at least the song’s really good.

I kinda hate myself now for having that haircut. I could’ve gone with Ben Gibbard’s hairstyle of the now–long and straight. Oh my, Gibbard’s getting thin too! He looks like he’s on drugs or something. Hooray! You go, Gibbard!

Thank god it’s Thursday. One more day, and I’m off to Cinemalaya!
