As exhibited with the entry before this, I’ve had one of those emo episodes over the past weekend. But, I guess I’m okay now. Haha! No, wait. I really am okay.
Cinemalaya kicks off this Friday, which means that I’ll be spending my Saturdays from 10am-9pm for all the screenings. I still haven’t decided on the films that I’ll be watching, but I’m really excited about the Manuel Conde classics. Usually, we plan what we’ll see when we have the schedule on our hands. I do hope they screen the films I’ve missed this year, like Raya Martin’s Now Showing or that new John Torres film. Oh, and Endo. I missed that last year, and since everybody’s been raving about it, I think I’ll take a look.
For students, don’t forget your IDs because that means cheaper tickets. If one screening’s sold out, forget it, choose an alternative. What we do is once we get the schedule, we plan what to see for the entire day, then we buy the tickets in bulk. Para hindi na kami maubusan. You can also buy the tickets in advance (buy this Saturday for next Saturday’s screening), but I wouldn’t advice that since the screening could be cancelled or whatever. I think I’ll go see My Fake American Accent, because it looks so mumblecore.
Oh, and Confessional which is an awesome awesome movie is screening this July 19, 6:15 PM at the Dream Theater. You better see it, because it’s awesome. See you der!

I'm back. Here's my
