Shh… This is a Library is a one-man band from New Jersey again (what is it with Jersey kids and the Kinsellan influence?). Listening to this seven-song album will bring a cool breeze amidst the hotness of this fucking summer season. His mix of lo-fi indie-folk instrumentals is perfect for listening as you lay down your bed. His songs are dreamy, subtle, and is also the perfect accompaniment to my own sad, pathetic, melancholy moments. Admit it, we all have it sometimes.
It was first released under I Had An Accident Records with only 50 hand-painted copies. Sold for $7 with all proceeds going to charity, the LP was an instant hit and was sold out quickly. Due to the success of the first pressing, 25 hand-painted copies were also released. Now, the CD is out of print but Shh… This is a Library insists that people should share the album. Hence, I’ll share it with you guys. Our country needs to hear good music like this; maybe it will even make us forget about the rice shortage, the ZTE scandal… or heck, those fucking Gucci Gang cokewhores.
This is a really impressive debut which echoes the likes of Mike Kinsella’s Owen (with minimal vocals). Seriously, the songs are like these little hushed secrets whispered directly to you. So if you like gentle acoustic guitars, soft melodies, and ambient bed music; this album is for youuuuu. Go ahead and download, yo! Stick this to your iPod, hit play, lay down on your bed, close your eyes, and wallow in Shh… This is a Library’s awesomeness. (download link after the cut)

Mas madali kasing mag-up pag rar eh. Plus, maganda mag-compress yung .rar, you can always download winRAR. It’s a lot better than winZIP if you ask me. Hehehehe!
Enjoyyyyy!
