I could spit on a stranger.

I could never be a filmmaker. Well, not now at least.

I think I’m sticking to writing screenplays. Philippine Cinema lacks writers. I’ve got loads of stories in my mind, heck you could even make a movie based on my blog (which I would like to write and be directed by Lav Diaz. He would make a 15-hour film about me. 2 hours would be spent with me sitting in front of the computer, just blogging. Then a 3-hour flashback of what I did earlier today. Wow. It’s gonna be fantastic).

What I’m saying is, I want to write for films and television. Man, Pinoy Big Brother needs writers (It’s not a fucking reality show, trust me. Ethel Booba wanting to go out of the house and is carrying an eyebrow fixer, who wrote that?! They need new writers. If I could be a writer for Pinoy Big Brother, I’d pen the script that indicates that Victor Basa and Jon Avila should go inside the confession room and confess their true sexuality to Big Brother.)

Another thing, I want to pitch scripts for wherever. You know like in Hollywood where guys like Josh Schwatz would write Pilot episodes and pitch it on big networks. Like The O.C. I could do something like that! I’d pen The Q.C. about a bunch of fucked up college kids/socialites who usually hangs out in Katipunan where they drink at Drew’s and attend gigs at Mag:Net. Now I would see that on television. Not Princess Sarah or Lastikman. (We actually don’t have a decent show about college kids. ABS-CBN does shows with College kids like Berks or whatever, but it’s like they’re writing it for Grade 6 students. We need booze and drugs and sex! Now that’s college!)

So yeah, this semester since I’m only getting 12 units I’ll just think of stories to tell and write them instantly. I’d love to write something neat and unique then I’d send it off to Palanca next year. Then I’d win. Then I’d show those bitches at the Humanities department that they should’ve accepted me for CommArts. Mwahahah, then I’d rule the world.

Actually, I’m just scared to make a film right now because I still don’t have the proper training (egh… cameras with their apertures and lenses). SOOO right now I’ll stick to writing since I’ve already studied Scriptwriting at Mowelfund, which was awesome!

But anyway, I’m still bringing my camera with me. And shoot some crazy stuff. And a decent short film. Yes, Churva was decent. NOT. I’ll make a better one. Shorts and Scripts, that’s what I’m going to do this semester.

Also, I’m writing for Fork And Knife Comics. Comic book writing, that’d be awesome!

Ohhh and the laptop’s arriving tomorrow! I still have a bunch of unedited shorts! Expect Edukasyon:Bakasyon (my statement film on college) to be posted in the following weeks. And then, I’ll do a second episode of Teh Shinji Show! Vlogging once more! Hooo-haaa!

Anyway, the main idea for this post is: Do you need writers? I’m all for the job, man!
