ZOMG! I haven’t blogged in ages. That’s like. So sad. Anyway, I’ve been busy. Really busy. Three consecutive days with exams at 7am. Now that’s what you call totally fucked.

And not to mention those dreaded projects and papers. Ahhh, can you smell it? The end of the semester. After this week and a couple of days next week, I shall be living like a millionaire without the million. I shall be bored like I’ve never been bored before.

I haven’t made a new short film, but I shot them. They’re still lying somewhere in the dark recesses of my camera. Mom’s laptop was fucked. And to think a 100-thousand peso laptop wouldn’t fuck you up. But I think my mom had something to do with it. I was gonna use it last Saturday, when it suddenly wouldn’t turn on.

Okay, so it never went something like that. But it was something like that. So we took the laptop to the HP Repair Center over at Makati at 8am, Saturday (I was out the night before. But that deserves a separate post) but that fucking Repair Center was not in business during the weekends. Wasn’t Makati the “New York” of the Philippines. If so, then why isn’t it the city that never sleeps? That fucking repair center slept when I needed it the most.

Anyway, I’ve been totally addicted to Spring Awakening lately. The Tony Award Winning musical from the guy that brought us songs like “Barely Breathing.” Wow, never thought Duncan Sheik would be so… broadway. But he nailed it nonetheless. I haven’t seen the actual Broadway Musical (well, duh? I never left the country for 18 years.) Spring Awakening is just beautiful in all aspects. I found a way to get rid of High School Musical 2 soundtrack that I was listening to.

I love all the songs man, they’re all amazing. From “The Bitch of Living” down to “The Song of Purple Summer” everything man! It’s like a really cool version of High School Musical that’s been injected with hormones. The kids are all sexed up and the songs tackle IMPORTANT topics like: jacking off alone in your room, your first fuck, rape, fantasizing about your piano teacher. I mean, those topics are really really important. Why talk about the conflicts in Kashmir or global warming, when you can talk about masturbation and sex and the dirty things you do with your friends who are girls. If ever they stage Spring Awakening here in the Philippines–hands down, I’d cast Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Man, it’s beautiful. That would be beautiful.
