I found these two videos in YouTube made 8 months ago. My god, I’m so blonde and emo. Mwahahahaha!

Okay, thanks for everyone who liked Churva. And since I’m really really bored, I decided to move on to another project. Like I’ve said, I’ll be doing a weekly web series. It’s called Los Baños: Teh Real Laguna. And yes, it’s some sort of a parody to MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
Let’s fuck this shit up. I’ve already got 3 episodes in mind, I might start shooting this week and then release it next weekend. It’s nothing big and prepared like what I did with Churva. It’s just good mindless fun about the lives of UPLB Students. So yeah. I’m really excited! I’ll be writing the script real soon (yes, it’s scripted) and for teh meantime here’s your first look at LB: The Real Laguna.

Teh original picture was from Brando Losaria who used infrared lens or whatever that is to capture that beautiful image. HOOORAY! I’m sorry if I illegally used teh picture. I can’t find a good shot of Elbi, eh!
Again, thanks to everyone who saw CHURVA! And you can still catch it like, forever in YouTube. Magcomment naman kayo, para maimprove ko yung mga ginagawa ko. Kung panget, okay lang! Mwahahahaha!

Mwahahha. Maybe they’d bash my short film. If you go THIS post and read the barrage of comments from a Kimerald mob, you’ll notice how crazy the showbiz world really is.
I remember doing a documentary back in High School about fans of teen stars for economics. We contacted a fan of Yasmien Kurdi and documented an entire day of her escapades in SOP. We went backstage SOP and met up with different kinds of fans. They even have this Mel and Joey fan mob.

YouTube description:
AFTER WEEKS OF WAITING, Churva is now on YOUTUBE! HOOORAY! This is the YouTube cut, the original film ran 3 minutes longer and included a rolling full credit at the end.
Churva is about two friends (talking in different tongues but understands each other) going through the day. Denise (Pia Canlas) just broke up with his boyfriend, Nico (Shinji Manlangit). She then turns to her best friend Reggie (Yan Tayone) who might reveal his true feelings at the end of the day.
WOW! THAT PREMISE WAS SOOO CHEESY! Anyway, I did this for a project in my English 1 class. I pitched the story to my prof. who told me to do what the hell I want. So I did it. Churva may be a cheesy romantic romp, but in reality (and all pretentiousness) it’s about communicating no matter what language you speak.
I did some minor color grading and reduced the running time from 12 minutes to 10 minutes. Which means some scenes had to be cut and most of the credits was left on the cutting floor.
The thing about this cut is that, I’m sorta not happy with it. This is the “just-render-it-so-you-could-make-the-deadline” cut. If I get a better and faster computer, then I’d make the cut that I want. Again, the running time was reduced. Which makes it even more depressing. This is the cut that I showed to my class. The cut that gave me a 1.0 grade in my English project. And my classmates seriously liked it. They clapped for a minute or so after the short was shown, so they must’ve liked it one way or another.
The way Reggie (Yan’s character) speaks in the film appears to be Hiro Nakamura-ish, although it was really intended to show a cellphone message to represent him speaking. That had to be cut, because rendering a split-screen takes forever. I’d do it again.
Anyway, IT IS MY FILM. So, whatever cut it may be, I like it and I’m proud of it. So, this is the product of a “no-budget” and I like the result already, give me around 2thousand and I’ll make you a decent 20-minute short. Maybe. Ang yabang ko naman.
Again, this is the YouTube cut. So this is just this would just run 30fps, 64kbps sound, 512kpbs video quality and 320×240x32 pixels. Not bad, it’s perfect for YouTube.
Have I told you about the soundtrack? The soundtrack kicks ass. If you’re my friend in Multiply and you click HERE for my Multiply page, you can download the 5-song soundtrack that I used for CHuRVA. This includes kick ass tunes from Spazzkid (Thanks, Mark!), They Call Him Sven Goldenstein (Thanks Ciciboy!), I Love You… In Real Life (Thanks Tomi, TJ and Francis!), Anna Korsakoff (Thanks Francis Maria!) and my favorite from Tigers are Out, Bears are In (Thanks TAOBAI!). The TAOBAI track was the one used in the trailer.

Mwahahaha. My “A Love Story” review was one of the reasons why I got a lot of hits for my blog. And now that I’ve written a really negative review for “I’ve Fallen For You” I know people would hate me. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Fuck you, bitches.
Anyway. Since I’m bored, I don’t know if it would push through but we’re formulating a series of webisodes for my CMSC2 project. It’s about a family that videoblogs only to diss each other. I’d play the Dad, well apat lang naman kami sa group eh.
I’ve been hanging onto the concept for quite a while. But with recent events of boredom, I’m ready to start my spoof of Laguna Beach. It’s called “LOS BAÑOS: Teh Real Laguna“ A pseudo-reality series of short videos for YouTube. Instead of hot chicks and guys like in the series, our version should would feature US. The students of UPLB in all its glory. Basically, it would revolve around my housemates and I in a series of shorts. Scripted shorts. It would be about dealing with beer runs, house parties, running out of money in the middle of the week, studying for Math 11 exams, being gay, etc. etc. I’ll be working on the script and collaborate with them during the next few weeks. Expect a lot of kagaguhan and yes, I won’t bleep out the language. I want it to be really vulgar and all that shizz.
Anyway. Yun lang. I blog a lot when I’m bored. Soreeh.

Kristen Bell starts shooting for Heroes, and my god, she’s in a two-piece bikini! ALAVET! Heroes is known to be shooting Episode 8 or 9 right now. So yeah, we can expect Kristen to enter the series before it’s Season break after episode 11.

Let me tell you something about Lino Cayetano’s directorial debut; the title of the film is “I’ve Fallen For You.” And in truth, the film falls miserably in every sense.
I'm back. Here's my
